Moving House
My friend is moving house soon and she has asked me to help her with packing her things up. I am happy to help her but am shocked at how much of mess everything is.
We started in her bedroom and she did not even have any shoe storage and so we found it hard to even pair up the shoes let alone find them all. I suggested that she get a better system when she moves because by having them all in a big jumble it was likely that she would damage them and her shoes are not cheap ones. I also suggested that she get some space bags for her clothing so that it remained flatter and if she labelled it well enough she could leave some in the bags until it was the right weather to wear them again. I also helped her sort out all of her sentimental things. We made a scrap book for some of her favourite photographs and got some photo storage for the rest of them. We also got some pretty hat boxes to store her heirlooms and ornaments. Hopefully when she unpacks at the other end she will be able to do it slowly and carefully and get everything organised and clutter free.
