Tips to Create Volume in Hair
Saturday, August 29th, 2009Many women with fine hair have difficulties with creating fullness, and building volume without having to chop it all off. There are some great tips that I have learned over the years to help keep your hair looking healthy and beautiful, as well as make your thin locks look thicker.
Here is a great way to add fullness without having to actually cut your strands. Make sure you use voluminous or moisturizing shampoo and conditioner while you shower. There are also intensive moisture treatments to prevent heat damage, and keeps your hair looking healthy and beautiful. Now, After you get out of the shower, apply a small amount of gel or mousse to your locks, and when you are about to dry it do this:
1. Take your hair and flip it so that you have a dramatic side part on one side of your head. Dry the roots of your strands that are exposed.
2. Flip your locks to the other side of your head, so now you have another large side part. Dry your exposed roots again.
3. Flip your head upside down, and dry the roots at the nape of your neck.
4. Dry the rest of your hair right side up, but use a round brush to style it how you want.
